Flat tip effectiveness in combat is not a new concept. The M1891 Bayonet boasts a flat tip as seen in the following photos. Russia contracted with Remington and with the New England Westinghouse Co. to produce the 7.62 mm. M1891 Mosin-Nagant rifle and the accompanying bayonets. A flathead tool is one of the most used tools in combat operations. It is used to pry, punch, break, smash, dig, open… and many other uses. Our Ghost Driver is capable of being carried in your non-dominant hand while manipulating your firearm making it a great choice for up close self defense / creating space.
AS A MACHINE GUN CLEARING TOOL:
A small hole within the top-center silat knuckle has been added to give machine gunners the option of fastening a retractable lanyard to rig up a sleek machine gun clearing tool to their plate carrier. Users can add Velcro to the top section of the exposed driver & outside of the sheath. Upon retraction the driver will stick to the sheath allowing the machine gunner to drop the driver and get back on target and deal with securing the driver in the sheath at a more convenient time.
